FBC Houma Serve

We love to serve our community. That's why this Summer, we're kicking off FBC Houma Serve. On specific Wednesday nights throughout the year we will go out into our communities to care for those outside the walls of our church. Check out our list of teams below and sign up for the next FBC Houma Serve event

Prayer Drive Team

The Prayer Drive Team will leave FBC Houma in their own transportation to go to various points in the city to pray over schools, government buildings, and parks. This team will follow a prayer guide and will pray specifically

for each site.


This team is family friendly.

Prayer Walk Team

The Prayer Walk Team will leave FBC Houma in their own transportation to go to Downtown Houma and walk through downtown specifically praying at designated locations. This team will follow a prayer guide at each site and will pray specifically for each site. This team will have FBC information and be ready to tell people about Christ when they ask why we are doing what we are doing.


This team is best suited for those in good health and the ability to walk long distance.

Neighborhood Beautification Team

The Neighborhood Beautification Team will leave FBC Houma in their own transportation to go to various locations in Houma such as parks and/or downtown to pick up trash and clean areas. This team will have information and be ready to tell people about Christ when they ask why we are doing what we are doing.


This team is family friendly.

Yard Work Team

The Yard Work Team will go to homes of our elderly members who are unable to take care of their yards. The team will show love by mowing, weeding, and edging their outdoor spaces. This team will have FBC information and be ready to tell people about Christ when they ask why we are doing what we are doing.


This team is family friendly.

The Visiting Team

The Visiting Team will visit elderly church members and those in nursing homes, bringing cards and encouragement to those who are unable to get out. This team will have FBC information and be ready to tell people about Christ when they ask why we are doing what we are doing.


This team is family friendly.

Living water ministry team

The Living Water Ministry Team will visit St. Charles Manor Apartments in Thibodaux to lead activities with children and families with Bible study, recreation, and prayer. This team will have FBC information and be ready to tell people about Christ when they ask why we are doing what we are doing.


This team is family friendly.

The Food Bank Team

The Food Bank Team will help sort canned goods for the food bank. The food sorted will go to provide for the homeless, needy children, and the Fletcher Food Pantry. This is a great service project for families with young children.
